Appraisal Group has been in business since March, 1984 providing clients with
residential and commerical apprisals in the Charlotte/Mecklenburg County area. In 1986, Hitchens Appraisal
Group focused on residential appraisal assignments including single family, multi family,
condominium, townhouse, vacant lot and acreage appraisals.
As our client base grew, so did the demand for appraisal work in the
larger MSA of Charlotte. Today, we offer residential appraisal services in Mecklenburg,
Iredell, Cabarrus, Gaston, Union, York (South Carolina) and parts of Lincoln and Catawba
Counties. To date, Hitchens Appraisal Group has appraised over 37,000 residential
properties. Our extensive data bases of appraisals and comparable sales allow us to
expedite appraisal assignments in the most efficient and cost effective manner possible.
All our staff appraisers are State Certified or State Licensed and are specialists in
their personal, geographical areas. This allows them to be experts in sales, land values
and market trends for each and every area that we serve.
